I work as a research engineer in the UW SPACE Lab on a variety of projects surrounding spacecraft technology and plasma physics. At present I am spearheading the development of a hyperthermal atomic oxygen beam to use as a VLEO 'wind simulant.' I am also assisting the testing and production of various ion thrusters.

In June 2024 I recieved my Masters of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics at the University of Washington.Â
I researched Hall thruster design as part of the UW SPACE Lab.
My thesis research investigated improving anode anode performance through modifcations to the propellant gas feed system. By using metal 3D printing manufacturing techniques, I sought to increase gas uniformity in the ionization region of the thruster discharge channel.
